Save Time and Hassle - Renew Your Club Membership Online

7/06/2010

Lifesaving Online ( www.lifesavingonline.com.au) is SLSA’s self-service membership portal. All surf club members and indeed all prospective surf club members (excluding those in QLD) can use the service to electronically renew their club membership. The process is quick and very simple and once you have created an account on the website, renewing is a single click away.

In order to use Lifesaving Online you need to first register an account. The email address, name and date of birth must match those that your club or support organisation has stored for you in the national membership database, Surfguard. You can use email or SMS via mobile phone to confirm your account.

Once you have created your account and confirmed your details you can follow the prompts in the My Memberships tab to renew with your existing club or apply to join another. When you do click on the Memberships tab you will notice a link called ‘Make Payment’ - if your club has joined the service you can use our payment gateway (pay.slsa.com.au) to pay your membership fees electronically too.

Lifesaving Online goes far beyond membership renewal - it gives you complete access to your entire member record as stored by your club(s) or support organisations in Surfguard. You can view all your awards including proficiency dates, you can view patrol dates (past and present), you can see how many patrol hours you have accumulated and you can change any personal information (address, phone numbers, email address, clothing sizes etc) that you wish.

It should be stressed that Lifesaving Online is open to all surf club members (excluding QLD) and your surf club or support organisation is not required to sign up to anything at their end. This is a service aimed squarely at the ordinary clubbie - it has been designed to save you time, to give you access to information that was previously hard for your to access and to ensure that we have accurate information on and about you in the database. Sign up today at www.lifesavingonline.com.au.
