How to become an accredited official
If you are interested in becoming an accredited surf official you will need to get in contact with your state Surf Life Saving centre.
State centres set course dates and can let you know when the next Level 1 or Level 2 Surf Official course is going to be conducted and enrolment information.

Official accreditation and relicense forms
If you have recently attended a Level 1, 2 or 3 officiating course, you may require an officials application form. Fill the form out and forward it on to your relevant state centre to be assessed.
If you have noticed your Level 1, 2 or 3 official accreditation has expired, you will require an officials re-licensing form . Fill out all pages of the form and send it to your relevant state centre to be assessed. Both these forms are available for download on the Forms page of the website.
Recognition of Prior Learning
If you would like to apply for recognition of prior learning for the level one surf official course you will need to fill out form 110 on the Forms page and forward it to your state center.
