Coach Accreditation and Re-licensing Forms
If you have recently attended a Level 1 or 2 coaching course you may require a coach application form (Form #63).

Fill the form out and forward it on to your relevant state centre to be assessed.

Please do not send any paperwork to your state centre unless all requirements have been met and all paperwork completed.

If you require a coach relicense form, please download Form 64, fill out both pages and send them on to your relevant state centre.

Surf Coach Re-licensing
Coach re-licensing now requires you to research coaching articles on the internet. The questions and the links to the articles can be downloaded here. Please write your answers on the re-licensing form.

Be sure to include the date you complete the questions, as they will change from time to time. Each correctly answered question will gain one point towards reaccreditation.

Recognition of Prior Learning
If you wish to apply for recognition of prior learning for the level one surf coach course please fill out form 71 on the forms page and forward it to your state centre.

Accreditation of Surf Boat Sweeps
For information regarding the changes that are being implemented to the procedures in becoming an accredited surf boat sweep, please download circular 56/06-07 and the competency checklist.

Surf Coach Manual
Copies of Surf Life Saving Coaching Manual are available to be purchased for $25 inc GST plus postage and can be paid for either by credit card or cheque.

The manual covers techniques, drills, training, competition and equipment for beach sprinting, board paddling, surf swimming, boat rowing, pool events, ski paddling, march past and R & R.
